GA Accounting was built on a simple belief: business owners deserve more than a once-a-year tax preparer. They deserve a financial partner who knows their business, tells them the truth, and is available when it matters.
Why We Exist
Most small businesses get one of two things from their accountant: a tax return once a year, or a stack of monthly reports no one explains. Neither one helps you run your business better.
We built GA Accounting to fill the gap between basic bookkeeping and real financial partnership. We handle the compliance, the filings, the month-end close — all of it. But we don't stop there. We make sure you understand what your numbers mean. We flag problems before they become crises. We help you plan, not just report.
Because business owners deserve a financial partner, not just an accountant.
Meet Galo Almeida
My name is Galo Almeida. I was born in Ecuador, where I served as an Army Officer. I had a career, a profession, and a stable life. Like many young men, I had plans and ambitions for the future. Then my wife and I made one of the most important decisions of our lives: to immigrate to the United States in search of something better.
We arrived in Miami the same day Hurricane Andrew made landfall. We were about 27 years old, full of hope, and completely starting over. Everything I had built in Ecuador — my career, my status, my professional identity — stayed behind. Here, I had to start from zero. And I mean that literally.
I didn't have the luxury of waiting. I took every honest opportunity I could find.
None of those jobs felt permanent. But each one taught me something about the value of honest work — and about humility. Both would serve me for the rest of my life.
Eventually I found work washing cars. Three dollars per vehicle. It didn't take long before I saw something clearly: if I could do this for someone else, I could do it for myself.
"No advertising. No marketing strategy. Built through consistent, excellent work — and word of mouth."
I ran that business for ten years. It supported my family and established my roots in this country. The philosophy that built that car wash is the same one that drives GA Accounting today: do the work right, keep your word, and let the results speak for themselves.
I knew I wanted more. So I went back to school while continuing to work. The first challenge was the language — my English wasn't fluent, which meant reading every textbook two, three, four times. What felt like a disadvantage became a strength. I developed a deep understanding of accounting principles because I had no choice but to master them.
An academic advisor asked me one day: "What are you good at?" I said I had always been strong with numbers. He suggested accounting. It wasn't my dream at the time. It became one of the best decisions of my life. At my first accounting job, I asked to prepare the company's tax return — even though they already had a CPA. When we compared the two returns, they were nearly identical. That moment stayed with me.

"There are no limits for someone willing to learn."
I went on to work in manufacturing for a decade, leading a team of five as Head Accountant. I specialized in Cost Accounting, job costing, financial controls, and process automation. I also taught myself advanced Excel programming — building macros and tools that automated complex accounting processes. I've always believed that if there's a better way to do something, it's worth finding.
In 2018, the company eliminated my position. I considered finding another job. But one day, while preparing for another technical interview, I asked myself a question I couldn't stop thinking about: "Do I really want to keep building someone else's dream?"
The answer was no. GA Accounting & Tax Solutions was born that year. Zero clients. Zero guarantees. Complete uncertainty. And everything I had learned in 25 years of real-world financial work.
Today, we serve owner-led businesses across multiple industries. We don't have hundreds of clients — and that's intentional. I'd rather have great clients and long-term relationships than a roster full of names I don't know. The same philosophy that built my car wash business still drives this firm: do the work right, tell the truth, and show up when it matters.
How We Work
Not a checklist. A philosophy. Six phases that move a business from financial confusion to complete clarity — and ultimately to Tranquilidad Total™.
Understand the current financial reality. No assumptions. No guesswork. No sugarcoating.
Organize books, accounts, processes, and records. Build a solid financial foundation to grow from.
Analyze what's working, what's not, and why. Numbers don't lie — but they need context to speak.
Build financial information that's reliable, readable, and actionable — not just technically accurate.
Turn numbers into growth tools. Understand what your business is telling you — then act on it with confidence.
You understand your numbers. You control your business. You build the future you want — with complete peace of mind.
What We Stand For
Every call we take, every report we send, every hard conversation we have — it all comes back to these.
We tell you the truth about your numbers — even when it's uncomfortable. We don't sugarcoat. We don't avoid hard conversations.
We do the right thing regardless of who's watching. That's not a slogan. It's a standard we hold ourselves to every single day.
Your business represents years of work, sacrifice, and courage. We treat your finances with the same respect you've put into building them.
We own our work. We respond when you reach out. If something needs to be corrected, we correct it. You'll never chase us down for an answer.
Good enough has never been enough for us. We built our reputation by doing the work right — every month, for every client. Excellence isn't an event. It's a habit.
Our Brand Promise
When a business owner sits down with Galo Almeida, they're not thinking about bank reconciliations. They're thinking about whether they'll have cash to make payroll on Friday. Whether the IRS is going to send a letter. Whether their business is growing or just surviving. Whether they'll be able to close the laptop tonight without lying awake worrying. What they're looking for isn't a report. It's peace of mind. That's how Tranquilidad Total™ was born.
You close your laptop on Friday afternoon knowing your numbers are right. Your team is paid. Your taxes are planned. Your cash flow is mapped out three months ahead. And if something comes up over the weekend, you know exactly who to call on Monday. That's Tranquilidad Total™.
"La contabilidad es el vehículo. La claridad financiera es el puente. La tranquilidad es el destino."
Why Clients Choose Us
When you call GA Accounting, you talk to Galo. Not a receptionist. Not a junior staff member. The person with 25+ years of experience who actually knows your account. Maximum 24-hour response time — always.
Galo has spent decades working with contractors, manufacturers, and owner-operated businesses. He understands job costing, cash flow cycles, payroll complexity, and the real financial challenges you face — not just textbook accounting.
We don't disappear after we close your month. We send reports you can actually read, explain what they mean, and talk through what the numbers say about your business. You get a financial partner, not just a vendor.
We tell you the truth about your numbers — even when it's not what you want to hear. That's not a sales pitch. That's how we've built relationships that last years, not quarters.

Our Commitment
GA Accounting was founded on the same principles that built a car wash business in Miami with no marketing budget — and sustained it for ten years: Do the work right. Keep your word. Treat every client like they're your only one. Those aren't slogans. They're the habits that create long-term relationships.
We don't have hundreds of clients, and that's by design. We work with the businesses we can truly serve. When we take on a client, we commit to them fully — not for a tax season, but for the long run. Our goal isn't to grow the roster. Our goal is to deepen the relationship.
That means your books are done right. Your calls are returned. Your questions get real answers. And when something changes in your business — a new contract, a difficult month, a growth decision — you have someone in your corner who knows your numbers and will tell you the truth.
"I do exceptional work. I treat my clients like family. I tell the truth even when it hurts. And I build relationships that last decades." — Galo Almeida
